In this fun and messy project we used red, yellow and blue tempera paint to paint on our papers. The papers were folded in half and pressed together to mix the colors. Can you see the new colors we made?
In this lesson, students learned how to weave paper. We discussed how this creates a pattern, and we finished our paper weaves by adding drawn patterns on top of them.
Students decorated coffee filters using markers and water. After our filters were dry, we discussed cutting a triangle out of a circle and how to place our new shapes together to create a fish.
